PACKARD'S CAMPS (unofficial web site)

Located on the head water of Sebec Lake at the beginning of the 100 mile wilderness. Same as it ever was. Laura Packard, pictured at the old store, was the 5th generation and most recent Packard family member to run Packard's Camps.

Sebec Lake is one of the 4 original natural Land Locked Salmon lakes in the State of Maine. It is a deepwater fishery 14 miles long. Packard's Landing is located on Sebec's northwest 4 mile basin. Here there are three large coves protected by long rocky points that offer great fishing, hiking, and swimming. Most of the undeveloped land is protected and preserved for future generations to enjoy.
Packard's is located just past Norwood Castle and before the airport and water falls

Rangely Snowmobile Cam

In the 1890s my family met the Packard's when my Great Grandfather's corkscrew business and Packard's Camps exhibited at the same trade show venue in New York City. I hope to upload some of the older photos as this site grows.

Since 1896, five generations of my family have been going to Packard's Camps. Most camps are cedar log structures built around 100 years ago.
